Voiceover Success Intensive - Carrie Olsen Voiceover

Voiceover Success Intensive

The Intensive has helped me because I have an immediate support group. It is a safe space to share your thoughts, questions, fears, highs, and lows. You realize what you don't know but also how much progress you have made on your journey. I have also made some wonderful connections and formed friendships

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I have the right type of voice for voiceover?

It's more about acting ability and communication skills (which can be developed) than having the "right" type of voice. It also helps to be a good reader.

Do I need access to a professional studio?

Only the one that you'll set up in your house! It's very common for voice actors to have a professional-sounding home studio. The home recording lesson in the Intensive will show you how.

How much time will I need to devote to this?

The more time you can devote to study and training, the more progress you'll see. The video lessons average about 20 minutes in length, but you'll also want to make time to practice and work on the business side — website, marketing, etc.

Is there a minimum amount of time I have to stay?

No. Membership is $67/month and you can cancel anytime — even after just one month.

What's the difference between the Intensive and getting coaching?

The Intensive is an all-online program with video modules covering everything you need to know to start making money as a voice actor. It provides resources and an accountability community. Coaching is typically 1-on-1, more individualized, and does not come included with the Intensive.

I'm just getting started. Should I get a coach or join the Intensive?

If you're just getting started and/or don't want to spend a lot on training until you're sure voiceover is for you, join the Intensive. You can save money on coaching later by getting the basics here first. If you have experience and the budget for 1-on-1 guidance, get a coach.

What if I can't attend the live monthly events?

All Office Hours and Study Group sessions are recorded and added to the archive. You can watch them anytime. The Workout Groups are peer-led practice sessions — if you miss one, there's another one that month.
