The biggest question I get asked after “How do I get started in voiceover?” is “…but how do I know if my voice is right for voiceover?”
Well, there’s only one way to find out 🙂
In reality, being a good voice actor is much more about your ability to act than the quality of your voice. Through this quick assessment, you will discover which voiceover genres your voice and delivery are best suited for, any techniques you may need to work on, and what next steps you should focus on next.
What you will need: a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a microphone and internet access so you can record a short snippet of copy to this site. Your submission will not be shared with anyone, and will be personally evaluated by me, Carrie Olsen.

Hi there! I’ve been singing since I was 7 yrs old – in choirs, bgv, and as a lead soloist. I’ve been told for years that I should venture into voice over work and I believe now is the time to get started. I’m excited about taking these steps!
