00:31:00 Question: “I have a potential eLearning company that has a rate structure as follows: • Non-Profit Rate: .20/word for projects less than 3,000 words. Any project over 3,000 words is discounted at .15/word. The file splitting and labeling fee is .75/file (flat rate). • Regular (for profit) Rate: .27/word, $1/file for splitting and labeling (flat rate). Anything above 3,000 words is discounted at a .20/word rate. I've never offered a discount for projects just because they have a higher word count (it's still the same amount of work!) 3,000 words also seems like a low word count for eLearning to start offering the discount. On the other hand, I like the idea of regular work and I appreciate their transparency with rates. I know we each make decisions on what we're comfortable with in our own business, but I'd love a chat about the pros/cons of such a proposal.”
