      Conviction vs Enthusiasm - intention
      There is never a neutral phase
      Voice acting is a collaborative effort between the scriptwriter and voice actor
      The announcer's voice is different from the actor/narrator's voice
      Feelings have many layers, and you need to communicate that well
      They liked the practical reads (advice in action)
      Getting into the essence of the script (John likes to call it concepts) - before you get committed to a script and have conviction, you need to know what you are talking about - the big picture
      To know about concepts, you need to be watching commercials. Knowing the essence of what a commercial is, lets you set up a good delivery even from the first line/get-go.
      What is the spark/entertainment value the copywriter is proud of—that's where you want to make your connection
